Our classes are led by expert instructors, who take you out of your everyday life and into the natural world. The PRNSA Field Institute offers hands-on environmental education classes throughout the year that foster enjoyment of Point Reyes National Seashore. Whether you are a practiced poet or looking to try this out for the first time, all are welcome. Instructor Patti Trimble will open the workshop with a short nature observation walk, followed by a gathering in the Red Barn to participate in guided poetry writing. Writing is a unique way to open the eyes and ears to the world, and we invite you to come capture the magic of this season through poetry. Spring is in full bloom! This special free workshop is offered to seniors interested in trying their hand at nature-inspired poetry.
